roaring 20's, it's the bee's knees

I recently attended the latest and greatest birthday extravaganza theme party- Roaring 20's! I have absolutely nothing 20's themed in my personal repertoire, but luckily I live in a city that has some of the quirkiest shops (ie once you step inside it feels as though you just teleported to another Era) in the world. 

If you ever have a costume party to attend and nothing to wear, look no further than the legendary Haight district. In a matter of 30 minutes I was able to find all I would ever need and more- for cheap too! Sometimes I wonder how a lot of these whacky shops stay in business. Only in San Fran...

i'm back!

I'm ashamed that I haven't posted in my blog in over a month. My work suddenly got overwhelmingly busy, and on top of all things stressful I ended up getting sick for the 4th time this year! The chaotic end of March and April has inevitably taught me how important is it to slow down, take a break, get some sleep. I've been consciously trying to get up from my desk on the hour every hour to take a lap around the building, stand up and stretch my legs. It's crazy how wrapped up in projects you can get, especially as you're staring at a computer screen all day. Anyyyywayyy, I'm back now and I'm going to try to keep up on my postings as best I can!
